Weiler 58227 is a Type 27 depressed-center grinding wheel formulated for aluminum. The 5 in diameter by 1/4 in thick wheel features a 7/8 in arbor, 24 grit silicon carbide and aluminum oxide abrasive, a resin non-loading bond and reinforced construction, rated to 12,200 rpm. It is intended for surface grinding, heavy stock removal, weld blending and edge beveling on aluminum with right angle grinders.
