The WEILER 57011 is a Type 1 (01/41) aluminum oxide cut-off wheel designed for aggressive cutting on steel. Measuring 2 inches in diameter and 1/16 inches thick with a 3/8 inches arbor hole, this reinforced wheel runs at up to 30000 RPM on die grinders. The resinoid bond holds the 36-grit aluminum oxide abrasive together under high-speed cutting loads, delivering consistent bite and wheel integrity through metal stock, pipe, and rod. The black coloring and T hardness code are consistent with a general-purpose steel-cutting wheel built for repetitive cut-off work in the shop or field.
This wheel is intended for use with die grinders in applications requiring a compact, high-RPM cut-off solution. The 2-inch diameter and 3/8 inches hole size suit standard die grinder mandrels used in maintenance, fabrication, and metalworking trades. Typical applications include cutting bolts, threaded rod, sheet metal, and light structural steel. The 36-grit rating makes it suitable for fast material removal rather than fine finishing. This wheel is sold individually with a minimum order quantity of 100 units, making it appropriate for shop stocking or fleet service accounts.
Designed for use with die grinders accepting a 3/8 inches arbor hole and rated for wheels up to 30000 RPM. Intended application is steel per manufacturer specification A36T.
This wheel must be installed and operated by personnel familiar with abrasive wheel safety per ANSI B7.1 guidelines. Always verify the die grinder is rated at or above the wheel maximum RPM before mounting. Disconnect the tool from its power source before changing wheels, and inspect the wheel for cracks or damage before each use. Never exceed the 30000 RPM maximum speed rating marked on the wheel.
