The WEILER 50106 is a Type 29 ceramic alumina flap disc designed for aggressive material removal on metal surfaces. Part of the Tiger Ceramic series, it runs a 4.5-inch diameter with a 5/8-11 threaded arbor hole and is rated to 13,000 RPM. The coated cloth-backed flaps deliver a coarse, 60-grit cut suited for beveling, weld removal, and edge deburring. A phenolic backing plate supports the disc geometry under load. Licensed tradespeople and fabricators working with angle grinders will find this disc well-matched to high-contact metalworking tasks.
This disc is built for use on steel, stainless steel, titanium, aluminum, and Inconel. The Type 29 conical profile keeps the disc face angled relative to the workpiece, which increases contact area and improves stock removal rates compared to a flat Type 27 profile. Typical applications include weld seam blending, chamfering plate edges, and deburring fabricated assemblies. It fits standard 4.5-inch angle grinders equipped with a 5/8-11 spindle thread, which is the most common configuration in fabrication shops and field metalwork.

Install and operate this disc only on angle grinders rated at or above the 13,000 RPM maximum speed marked on the disc. Inspect the disc for cracks or damage before each use and never mount a damaged disc. Always install the correct guard per the grinder manufacturer's requirements and wear appropriate PPE including a face shield before operation. Power down and disconnect the grinder from its power source before mounting or removing the disc.
