The WEILER 31134 is a crimped nylon wheel brush designed for surface finishing, deburring, and blending on bench or pedestal grinders and straight grinders. The 6-inch outside diameter and 5/8-inch face width make it well-suited for moderate material removal and surface conditioning on metal, composite, and similar workpieces. It uses 120-grit ceramic abrasive filaments in a fine-grade configuration, with a filament diameter in the 0.0200 to 0.0299-inch range. Rated to 4500 RPM, the brush mounts via a standard arbor hole. Trim length is 7/8 inch. Licensed tradespeople and industrial maintenance technicians are the primary installers.
This wheel brush is intended for use on bench grinders, pedestal grinders, and straight grinders in light industrial, fabrication, and maintenance settings. Its crimped nylon fill with ceramic abrasive is appropriate for finish work where aggressive wire brushing would damage the substrate. Typical applications include weld cleanup, rust removal, paint stripping, and surface blending on ferrous and non-ferrous parts. The arbor hole mount is compatible with standard grinder spindles found in most shop environments.
Designed for use on bench grinders, pedestal grinders, and straight grinders equipped with a standard arbor hole spindle. Verify that the grinder spindle speed does not exceed the 4500 RPM maximum rating before installation.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with abrasive wheel mounting procedures. Always power down and disconnect the grinder from its power source before mounting or removing the brush. Confirm that the spindle arbor diameter matches the brush bore and that all flanges and guards are properly reinstalled before operation. Do not exceed the 4500 RPM maximum speed rating under any circumstances.
