The WEILER 26136 is a nylon-fill end brush designed for controlled surface finishing and cleaning in tight or recessed areas. The brush uses crimped Nylox abrasive nylon filaments loaded with 500-grit silicon carbide to deliver consistent, light material removal without aggressive metal cutting. The overall length is 1.875 inches, with a 1/4-inch trim length and a 1-1/4-inch steel shank for secure chuck mounting. Rated to 37,000 RPM, it is well suited for high-speed rotary tools used in production and maintenance applications. HVAC technicians, plumbers, electricians, and general maintenance trades use end brushes like this for deburring ports, cleaning threaded fittings, and preparing internal surfaces before assembly.
This brush is built for work on steel surfaces where protecting internal geometry matters. The plastic ferrule cup and abrasive nylon fill help clean and condition internal bores, tube ends, and recessed cavities without the risk of heavy scoring or gouging associated with wire-fill brushes. It is a practical choice for light deburring, rust removal, and pre-weld or pre-solder surface prep in tight spots that larger brushes cannot reach.
Designed as an OEM-style end brush for use with 1/4-inch shank rotary tools, die grinders, and drill presses capable of accepting the 37,000 RPM rating.
Installation is performed by inserting the steel shank into a compatible 1/4-inch chuck collet and tightening securely before operation. Always confirm the tool's rated RPM meets or exceeds the 37,000 RPM maximum before mounting. Wear appropriate eye protection and follow ANSI B165.1 brush safety standards during use. Inspect the brush for damaged or splayed filaments before each use and replace if wear is uneven or filament integrity is compromised.
