The WEILER 21270 is a single-spiral brass hand tube brush designed for cleaning small-diameter tubes, ports, and bores in HVAC, plumbing, and light mechanical applications. The brush head measures 1.5 inches long by 0.25 inches in diameter, with a 7-inch overall length that gives the technician adequate reach into tight passages. Brass fill material is non-sparking and gentle on soft metal surfaces, making it well suited for copper tubing, brass fittings, and similar substrates. The 0.003-inch wire diameter provides a light to medium scrubbing action without gouging bore walls.
This tube brush sees regular use in HVAC service for cleaning metering device orifices, pilot assemblies, burner ports, and coil tube ends. Plumbers use it on flare fittings and valve seats. The 3/32-inch stainless steel shank fits standard drill chucks and die-grinder collets for powered use, or the loop handle allows comfortable hand operation. Typical applications are residential and light commercial service calls where a compact, precise cleaning tool is needed.
Designed as a general-purpose replacement hand tube brush for cleaning 0.25-inch diameter bores and tubes in HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical maintenance applications.
This brush is installed and used by HVAC technicians, plumbers, and mechanical service professionals. When used in a powered application, secure the 3/32-inch shank firmly in the chuck before operation and confirm the drill or die grinder is set to an appropriate low speed for brush diameter. When cleaning gas-side components such as burner ports or pilot orifices, shut off gas supply and allow components to cool fully before servicing. Inspect the brush for bent or broken wires before each use and replace if wire integrity is compromised.
