The WEILER 21143 is a round power tube brush designed for cleaning and deburring smooth or threaded blind holes in steel parts. The brush head measures 9/16 inches in diameter with a 1-inch brush length, filled with a single spiral of crimped 0.005-inch steel wire. This spiral fill pattern delivers a more flexible brushing action than rigid-fill alternatives, helping techs and machinists reach into confined bore geometry without aggressive material removal. The unthreaded 3/16-inch stem is 2.5 inches long and constructed from stainless steel, making it compatible with standard drill chucks on corded and cordless tools.
This tube brush is suited for manufacturing and maintenance environments where bore cleanliness and surface prep are required before assembly or inspection. Typical applications include deburring drilled holes, removing chips and scale from threaded blind holes, and light surface cleaning inside tubing or cylindrical passages on steel workpieces. It is sized for use in hand drills, drill presses, drilling machines, and CNC or milling machines operating within the rated speed range. Sold individually, it is well matched to bench-level repair work as well as automated machine tooling setups.
Designed for use with corded and cordless hand drills, drill presses, drilling machines, and CNC, milling, or automatic machines equipped with a chuck that accepts a 3/16-inch unthreaded stem.
Installation and use should be performed by machinists, maintenance technicians, or other trade professionals familiar with rotating abrasive tooling. Secure the unthreaded stem firmly in the drill chuck before operation and confirm the tool will not exceed the 2000 RPM maximum rated speed. Always wear appropriate eye protection and gloves when operating wire brushes, as fill wires can shed at speed. Inspect the brush for broken or missing wires before each use and remove from service if damage is found.
