The WEILER 11166 is a nylon-fill end brush designed for targeted surface conditioning on small or hard-to-reach workpieces. The crimped wire construction uses nylon filament loaded with silicon carbide abrasive at a fine 120 grit, delivering consistent scratch patterns and light material removal without aggressive cutting. At 3/4 inch in diameter and 2-7/16 inches overall length, this brush mounts via an included shank for use in drills, die grinders, or rotary tools. It is rated to 10,000 RPM and bridled for controlled flare during operation. Machinists, fabricators, and finishing technicians use this style of end brush for deburring, cleaning weld prep areas, and light surface blending.
The WEILER 11166 is suited for hand-use applications requiring a focused brushing action on interior bores, slots, and contoured surfaces. The fine 120-grit silicon carbide fill makes it appropriate for finish work on metal, composite, and similar materials where coarser abrasives would cause unwanted stock removal. The included shank allows direct chuck mounting without additional tooling. Typical users include metalworking shops and maintenance technicians performing precision deburring or surface prep on component features too small for larger wheel or cup brush configurations.
Designed as an OEM-style end brush for use in standard rotary tools, die grinders, and drill chucks accepting a 3/4-inch shank, up to 10,000 RPM maximum operating speed.
Installation is performed by trades personnel or machine operators familiar with rotary abrasive tooling. Ensure the tool is fully powered down and the spindle is stationary before mounting or removing the brush. Secure the shank firmly in the chuck and confirm the tool RPM rating does not exceed 10,000 RPM before operation. Eye protection and appropriate PPE are required when operating any rotary abrasive brush.
