The WEILER 11161 is a crimped-wire end brush with a 1/2 inch brush diameter, designed for targeted brushing action in recesses, bores, and internal features that flat or cup brushes cannot reach. The fill material is nylon infused with silicon carbide abrasive at a 180 grit rating, placing it in the very fine grade category. It operates at a maximum of 10000 RPM and includes a 6.00 mm shank for secure chuck mounting. Fabricators, maintenance techs, and toolroom operators reach for this brush when a job calls for light deburring, surface prep, or cleaning inside confined geometry without aggressive metal removal.
This end brush is suited for use on drill presses, die grinders, and CNC machining centers in both production and maintenance environments. Its bridled construction helps maintain filament control during operation, reducing filament flare and extending brush life. The silicon carbide abrasive nylon fill makes it appropriate for ferrous and non-ferrous metals, composites, and plastics where a very fine finish is required. Typical applications include cleaning threaded holes, deburring drilled passages, and prepping internal surfaces before coating or inspection.
Designed as an OEM-style end brush for use in die grinders, drill presses, and rotary tools equipped with a 6.00 mm collet or compatible chuck; verify maximum RPM rating of the tool does not exceed 10000 RPM before use.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or maintenance technicians familiar with rotary abrasive tooling. Before mounting, confirm the tool spindle is fully stopped and the power source is isolated or the trigger is locked out. Insert the shank fully into the collet or chuck and tighten to the tool manufacturer specification. Never exceed the 10000 RPM maximum speed rating stamped or listed for this brush.
