The WEILER 11101 is a crimped wire end brush designed for aggressive surface conditioning and deburring on metal workpieces. It mounts via a 6 mm steel shank and spins at up to 25,000 RPM, making it compatible with die grinders and rotary tools used in fabrication and maintenance environments. The 0.5 inch diameter brush head carries steel crimped wire fill with a bridled construction that reduces exposed trim length and controls flaring at operating speed. Overall length is 2.5625 inches with a 0.75 inch shank length. Wire diameter falls in the 0.0101 to 0.0200 inch range, delivering consistent, controlled contact on tight surfaces and confined areas.
This end brush is suited for deburring, cleaning, and surface prep on armored steel, cast iron, ductile iron, carbon steel, and tool steel. It is used by machinists, maintenance technicians, pipefitters, and fabricators working in industrial and manufacturing settings. The crimped wire construction provides flexibility and an aggressive brushing action without the stiffness of knotted wire, making it practical for detail work in recesses, bores, and weld zones where flat or cup brushes cannot reach.
Rated for use on armored steel, cast iron, ductile iron, steel, and tool steel. Designed for use with die grinders and rotary tools accepting a 6 mm shank. Verify tool collet size and maximum RPM rating before installation.
Installation is performed by machinists or maintenance technicians using a die grinder or rotary tool with a compatible 6 mm collet. Ensure the tool is powered down and unplugged before inserting or removing the shank. Do not exceed the 25,000 RPM maximum speed rating. Eye protection and appropriate PPE are required during operation per standard shop safety practice.
