The WEILER 10076 is a steel crimped wire end brush designed for surface preparation, deburring, cleaning, and finishing on metal workpieces. The brush features a 1-1/4 inch working diameter with a pre-flared design that matches the working angle for consistent contact across the surface. It mounts via a 6 mm shank diameter with a 3/4 inch shank length, making it compatible with standard rotary tools, die grinders, and drill presses. Wire diameter runs up to 0.0100 inches. The maximum rated speed is 20,000 RPM. Installers in fabrication, HVAC, and mechanical trade shops use this type of brush for weld cleanup, rust removal, and scale removal on steel substrates.
This end brush is suited for light to moderate metalworking tasks on steel surfaces. It is a common tool in mechanical and fabrication shops where a rotary tool or die grinder is used to access tight areas, inside diameters, or contoured surfaces that flat or cup brushes cannot reach. The crimped wire fill provides flexibility and consistent pressure at the work surface, making it effective for blending and cleaning without aggressive stock removal.
Designed for use with die grinders, rotary tools, and drill presses accepting a 6 mm shank. Intended for material application on steel workpieces.
Install and remove using standard collet or chuck tooling appropriate for the 6 mm shank. Always confirm the tool spindle speed does not exceed the 20,000 RPM maximum rating before operation. Wear appropriate PPE including eye protection when operating any wire brush. Inspect the brush for damaged or flared-out wire before each use and remove from service if deformation is found.
