The WEILER 10044 is a crimped steel wire end brush designed for aggressive surface preparation, deburring, and cleaning on metal workpieces. The flared, crimped wire fill delivers consistent, flexible contact across irregular surfaces while maintaining abrasive action throughout the wire life. Rated to a maximum of 20,000 RPM, this end brush is built for use with die grinders and high-speed rotary tools common in fabrication, maintenance, and repair environments. Licensed tradespeople and metalworkers in HVAC, plumbing, and general mechanical trades reach for this style of brush when clearing weld spatter, removing rust scale, or cleaning pipe ends and fittings.
This end brush is suited for light to medium-duty surface work on steel, iron, and similar ferrous materials. The 1-1/2 inch diameter makes it practical for accessing pipe interiors, valve bodies, heat exchanger ports, and similar confined geometries. Typical applications include pre-weld cleaning, post-weld spatter removal, rust and scale removal on HVAC components, and general metal surface conditioning in shop or field settings.
Designed as a standard end brush for use with die grinders and rotary tools that accept end brush shanks. Verify that the tool speed does not exceed 20,000 RPM before use.
Installation and use should be performed by qualified personnel familiar with rotary abrasive tools. Always power down and disconnect the tool from its power source before mounting or removing the brush. Secure the shank firmly in the collet or chuck to the tool manufacturer specification before operating. Never exceed the 20,000 RPM maximum speed rating, and inspect the brush for wire fatigue or deformation before each use.
