The WEILER 06150 is a 10-inch diameter carbon steel wheel brush designed for aggressive surface preparation, deburring, and blending on metal workpieces. It mounts via an arbor hole with a two-keyway style and runs at a maximum rated speed of 3,600 RPM. The crimped wire fill delivers consistent, moderate-to-aggressive cutting action across flat and contoured surfaces. With a face width of 1.125 inches and a trim length of 2 inches, it provides good surface contact and filament flex. The wire diameter falls in the 0.0100 to 0.0199 inch range. No shank is included. This brush is installed and operated by maintenance machinists, fabricators, and metalworkers on fixed power equipment.
This wheel brush is suited for bench grinders, pedestal grinders, automatic machines, CNC machines, and milling equipment. It is appropriate for production environments where consistent wire action and high-cycle use are required on carbon steel or similarly hard workpiece materials. The arbor hole mount with two keyway style ensures secure, centered seating on compatible spindle arbors. Typical applications include weld seam cleanup, rust and scale removal, edge blending, and surface conditioning on ferrous metals.
Designed for use on bench grinders, pedestal grinders, automatic machines, CNC machines, and milling equipment that accept a two-keyway arbor hole wheel brush mount. No shank is included; a compatible arbor is required.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or maintenance technician familiar with abrasive wheel mounting procedures. Power down and lock out the machine before mounting or dismounting the brush. Confirm that the machine spindle speed does not exceed the 3,600 RPM maximum rating of the brush before operation. Always install the proper flanges and hardware per the equipment manufacturer specifications and applicable ANSI B11 or OSHA abrasive wheel standards.
