Built with carbon steel fill material, this brush measures 8 inches in outside diameter with a 1-inch face width and a trim length of 1-3/8 inches. The arbor-hole mount accepts a 2-inch hole for secure spindle attachment. Rated to 4,500 RPM, it delivers consistent wire contact across a range of industrial applications. Filament wire diameter falls in the range up to 0.0099 inches, producing a fine-to-medium cut action suited for scaling, blending, and light stock removal on ferrous metals.
This wheel brush is used in shop environments where a bench or pedestal grinder provides the drive. Common applications include weld seam cleanup, rust and scale removal, part deburring, and surface blending prior to coating or inspection. It is appropriate for automated machine setups including CNC and milling operations where repeatable brush contact is required. The crimped wire construction provides flexibility under load, reducing wire breakage and extending service life compared to knotted configurations under similar duty cycles.
