The WEILER 01775 is a crimped-wire wheel brush designed for aggressive surface conditioning, deburring, and finishing on metal workpieces. Built with stainless steel fill material, it resists rust contamination on stainless steel or aluminum substrates where carbon steel wire would cause galvanic issues. The brush measures 8 inches in outside diameter with a 0.5-inch face width and mounts via a standard arbor hole, rated to a maximum of 6,000 RPM. Filament wire diameter runs up to 0.0099 inches, giving the crimped configuration enough flex to conform to irregular surfaces while maintaining consistent scratch patterns.
This wheel brush is suited for use on bench or pedestal grinders, automatic machines, CNC machines, and milling equipment. It handles tasks such as scale removal, weld spatter cleanup, surface blending, and light deburring on ferrous and non-ferrous parts. The arbor-hole mount makes it a straightforward fit on standard grinding spindles found in fabrication shops and machine tool environments. No shank is included, and the brush is non-encapsulated.
Designed for arbor-hole mounting on bench grinders, pedestal grinders, automatic machines, CNC machines, and milling equipment operating at or below 6,000 RPM.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or tool-room technicians. Always de-energize and lock out the grinder or machine before mounting or removing the brush. Verify that the machine spindle speed does not exceed the 6,000 RPM rating marked on this brush before operation. Confirm arbor hole sizing and flange fit before tightening to prevent runout or brush failure during use.
