The WEILER 01415 is a 6-inch diameter crimped wire wheel brush designed for deburring, cleaning, and surface finishing on bench grinders, pedestal grinders, and automated machining equipment. The brush uses brass fill wire in a crimped configuration, which delivers consistent, controlled abrasion and resists aggressive loading on softer materials and non-ferrous workpieces. Rated to 6,000 RPM, it mounts via a standard arbor hole. The face width is 0.5 inches and the trim length is 1-1/16 inches, making it well suited for moderate material removal and finishing passes.
This wheel brush is built for use on bench or pedestal grinders as well as automated applications including CNC machines, milling centers, and automatic processing equipment. The crimped brass wire is a common choice when ferrous contamination must be avoided on the workpiece surface, or when the application calls for a finer, less aggressive finish than carbon steel wire would produce. It is installed without a shank and is not encapsulated.
Designed for use on bench grinders, pedestal grinders, CNC machines, milling equipment, and automatic processing machines requiring a 6-inch arbor-mount crimped wire wheel brush.
Installation should be performed by a qualified operator familiar with abrasive wheel mounting procedures. Disconnect and lock out all power to the grinder or machine before mounting or removing the brush. Verify that the machine spindle speed does not exceed the 6,000 RPM rating marked on the brush. Follow ANSI B7.1 and applicable machine manufacturer guidelines for wheel dressing, guard clearance, and flange torque when mounting arbor-hole abrasive accessories.
