The WEILER 01259 is a 10-inch diameter crimped wire wheel brush designed for aggressive surface conditioning, deburring, blending, and scale removal on metal workpieces. The brush uses carbon steel fill wire in the 0.010 to 0.019 inch diameter range, mounted via a 1-1/4 inch arbor hole for secure installation on fixed equipment. With a maximum rated speed of 4,000 RPM and a 3/4 inch face width, this brush delivers consistent contact across the work surface. The 2-1/2 inch trim length provides the flexibility and reach needed for contoured or irregular surfaces. It is installed by machinists and metalworking technicians on bench grinders, pedestal grinders, and automated machinery.
This wheel brush is suited for use in production and shop environments where consistent surface finishing is required. Rated applications include bench and pedestal grinders, automatic machines, CNC machines, and milling equipment. The arbor hole mount makes it compatible with standard fixed-spindle setups common in machine shops and fabrication facilities. No shank is included, so a compatible arbor or adapter is required for installation.
Designed for use on automatic machines, bench or pedestal grinders, CNC machines, and milling equipment with a compatible 1-1/4 inch arbor spindle. No shank is included; a separate arbor or bushing may be required to match the machine spindle diameter.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. Always power down and fully de-energize the grinder or machine before mounting or removing wheel brushes. Verify that the machine spindle speed does not exceed the 4,000 RPM maximum rating marked on the brush before operation. Inspect the brush for any wire fatigue or deformation before each use, and confirm the arbor nut is tightened securely before starting the machine.
