The WEILER 01258 is a 10-inch diameter wheel brush designed for surface conditioning, deburring, and cleaning on industrial and bench-mounted equipment. It features a crimped carbon steel fill wire, which delivers consistent, even pressure across irregular surfaces while resisting wire fatigue over extended use. Rated to 4,000 RPM, this brush mounts via a standard arbor hole — no shank included. The 0.0100 to 0.0199 inch filament wire diameter range suits medium-duty material removal tasks where controlled aggression is needed without gouging base material. The 2.5-inch trim length provides sufficient flex and reach for general surface work. Typically installed and operated by maintenance machinists, tool room technicians, or industrial service professionals.
This wheel brush is built for use on bench or pedestal grinders and is also rated for automatic machines, CNC machines, and milling applications. The arbor hole mount makes it compatible with standard spindle configurations found on these machine types. It is suited for tasks such as weld spatter removal, rust and scale removal, edge blending, and general surface prep on ferrous metals. The 10-inch diameter and 0.75-inch face width make it appropriate for wide, flat workpieces where full-face contact across the brush is useful.
Designed for use on bench or pedestal grinders, automatic machines, CNC machines, and milling equipment with standard arbor hole spindle configurations. No shank is included; verify spindle bore size before installation.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or maintenance technician familiar with abrasive wheel mounting procedures. Power down and lock out the machine before mounting or removing the brush. Confirm that the machine spindle speed does not exceed the 4,000 RPM maximum rating of this brush before operation. Always inspect the brush for damage before each use and follow ANSI B7.1 safety standards for abrasive wheel mounting.
