The WEILER 00274 is a 3-inch diameter crimped wire wheel brush designed for aggressive surface conditioning, deburring, and cleaning on metal workpieces. It mounts via an arbor hole and runs at a maximum speed of 12,500 RPM. The brush uses carbon steel crimped wire filaments in the 0.0100 to 0.0199 inch diameter range, which deliver consistent scrubbing action and flex to conform to irregular surfaces. The 7/16-inch face width and 1/2-inch trim length suit tight, controlled passes on workpiece edges and flat stock. No shank is included. The brush is not encapsulated, allowing full wire exposure for maximum contact.
This wheel brush is suited for use on bench or pedestal grinders, straight grinders, CNC machines, automatic machines, and milling equipment. It is a standard production-floor tool for metalworking shops, fabrication facilities, and machining operations where consistent surface prep or deburring is part of the workflow. The arbor hole mount makes it compatible with a wide range of machine spindles. Typical applications include scale removal, weld cleanup, rust removal, and edge conditioning on ferrous metals.
Designed for use on bench or pedestal grinders, straight grinders, CNC machines, automatic machines, and milling equipment that accept an arbor hole mounted wheel brush.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or grinding equipment operator. Power down and lock out the machine before mounting or removing the brush. Verify that the machine spindle speed does not exceed the 12,500 RPM maximum rating of the brush before operation. Always confirm the arbor hole size matches the machine spindle and that flanges and hardware are properly seated before resuming power.
