The WEILER 00114 is a 4-inch diameter crimped wire wheel brush designed for aggressive surface conditioning, deburring, and cleaning on bench grinders, pedestal grinders, CNC machines, and automatic milling equipment. It mounts via an arbor hole with a 1/2-inch face width and delivers a maximum operating speed of 12,500 RPM. The brush uses carbon steel fill material with a trim length of 7/8 inches and a filament wire diameter up to 0.0099 inches. No shank is included. Licensed HVAC techs, machinists, fabricators, and maintenance tradespeople reach for this brush when prepping metal surfaces before welding, coating, or assembly.
This wheel brush is suited for use on bench or pedestal grinders, automatic machines, and CNC or milling equipment in both shop and field maintenance settings. It handles light to moderate stock removal, rust and scale removal, and weld-spatter cleanup on carbon steel workpieces. The crimped wire construction provides a more flexible, controlled cut compared to knotted-wire designs, making it appropriate for work where surface finish consistency matters alongside material removal.
Designed for arbor-hole mounting on bench grinders, pedestal grinders, automatic machines, and CNC or milling equipment where a 4-inch wheel brush is required. No shank is included; confirm arbor sizing before installation.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or maintenance technician following the grinder or machine manufacturer's arbor mounting procedures. Power down and de-energize the machine fully before mounting or removing the brush. Do not exceed the rated maximum speed of 12,500 RPM. Inspect the brush for damaged or broken wires before each use, and ensure all guards are in place and secured before operating.
