The WAYNE WATER SYSTEMS WWB is a 1/6 horsepower submersible utility pump designed for fast, efficient water removal in residential and light commercial applications. Built around Multi-Flo Technology, the WWB gives the installer a choice between top discharge and side discharge without swapping fittings or adapters. Top discharge directs water up and out of confined spaces, while side discharge handles open-area drainage. The pump moves up to 1,257 gallons per hour and removes water down to 1/16 inch of the surface, leaving the work area nearly dry. A 3/4-inch garden hose adapter makes setup straightforward on any standard hose connection.
The WWB is suited for draining window wells, bathtubs, laundry tubs, 5-gallon buckets, flooded basements, shower stalls, flat roofs, and flooded yards. Its compact submersible design allows it to sit flat on the floor of the area being drained, and its multi-ring suction strainer filters debris at the intake to reduce clogging during operation. This pump is typically installed by plumbers, general contractors, or knowledgeable property owners handling water damage or routine drainage tasks.
Designed as an OEM-style submersible utility pump suitable for residential water removal applications requiring a standard 3/4-inch garden hose connection.
Installation is typically performed by a licensed plumber or qualified tradesperson, though the straightforward garden hose connection makes this unit accessible for experienced property owners. Before placing the pump, shut off any electrical circuits in the affected area to eliminate shock hazard around standing water. Position the unit on a flat surface and confirm the selected discharge orientation matches the drainage path before energizing. Do not run the pump dry, and inspect the suction strainer for debris blockage before and after each use.
