The WAYNE WATER SYSTEMS VIP30 is a portable, fully submersible utility pump designed for rapid water removal from flooded or water-logged spaces. Rated at 1/3 HP, it delivers a maximum flow rate of 1700 GPH and maintains 780 GPH at 10 feet of discharge lift. The sealed thermoplastic construction resists corrosion and allows continuous submersion. The pump handles dirty water containing solids up to 1/2 inch in size and can draw water down to just 1/8 inch above the surface, making it effective for near-complete water extraction. Plumbers, HVAC techs, and general service contractors reach for this pump when emergency dewatering is required.
The VIP30 is suited for residential and light commercial applications where temporary or emergency water removal is needed. Common uses include flooded basements, bilge pumping on small watercraft, and clearing water from low-lying outdoor collection areas. The 1-1/4 inch discharge outlet accepts a standard 3/4 inch garden hose adapter, allowing connection to common discharge hose without specialty fittings. Its portable form factor makes it easy to move between job sites or store until needed.
Designed for use as a portable submersible utility pump in residential and light commercial dewatering applications. Compatible with standard 3/4 inch garden hose fittings via the included adapter.
Disconnect power at the circuit breaker before placing or repositioning the pump in standing water. Ensure the discharge hose is routed away from the area being drained to prevent water from recirculating. Verify the outlet and extension cord, if used, are rated for wet-location use per NEC requirements. Do not run the pump dry for extended periods, as the motor relies on water for cooling.
