The WAYNE WATER SYSTEMS ESP25-N is a fully submersible emergency backup sump pump designed to protect basements and crawl spaces from flooding when the primary sump pump fails or when power goes out. Built with an epoxy-coated steel housing and a cast iron bottom, the ESP25-N is engineered for durability in wet sump environments. The corrosion-resistant thermoplastic impeller delivers maximum water flow, moving up to 2900 GPH at 0 feet of head. A protective battery case is included and features an LED display and audible alarm so installers and homeowners can monitor system status at a glance. This pump runs on a deep cycle marine battery and removes up to 10,000 gallons on a single charge.
The ESP25-N is intended for residential sump pit applications as a secondary backup system alongside an existing primary sump pump. It fits any sump basin 14 inches in diameter or larger. Plumbers and sump system installers commonly deploy this unit in basements where power outages or primary pump failure represent a significant flood risk. The pump operates quietly and is well suited for finished basements or living spaces adjacent to mechanical rooms where noise is a concern.
Designed for use in sump basins 14 inches in diameter or larger as an OEM-style emergency backup addition to any existing residential sump pump system.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified installer in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes. Disconnect and secure the primary sump pump system before beginning work in the sump pit. The 1-1/2 inch NPT discharge connects to standard sump discharge piping; use appropriate fittings and check valves as required by local code. Connect only to a properly rated deep cycle marine battery and follow the battery manufacturer guidelines for safe charging and maintenance.
