The WATTS lf25aub34 is a 3/4 inch lead-free water pressure reducing valve (PRV) designed to lower incoming supply pressure and protect downstream plumbing components from overpressure damage. Built from a lead-free copper silicon alloy body with a polymer seat, it delivers a standard factory setting of 50 psi and an adjustable range of 25 to 75 psi. Maximum working pressure is 300 psi. The valve features an NPT female union inlet paired with an NPT female outlet, making in-line installation and future maintenance straightforward. A built-in bypass feature manages thermal expansion pressure, helping prevent system stress in closed-loop configurations. Licensed plumbers install this valve as part of a code-compliant pressure regulation strategy.
This PRV is rated for residential, commercial, and industrial water service. Typical installations include the main domestic water service entry point, branch circuits serving fixtures sensitive to high pressure, and supply lines where local utility pressure regularly exceeds safe fixture ratings. The temperature rating of 33 to 160 degrees F covers standard cold and hot domestic water service ranges. The replaceable seat module allows field servicing without full valve replacement, reducing downtime in commercial settings where water service interruption is costly.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-install PRV for 3/4 inch NPT threaded residential, commercial, and industrial potable water supply systems requiring adjustable downstream pressure control.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and the applicable edition of the International Plumbing Code (IPC). Shut off the main water supply and relieve system pressure before installation or seat module service. Install with flow direction matching the arrow cast on the valve body. Do not exceed the rated temperature or pressure limits stated on the valve.
