The WATTS BRASS TUBULAR PL-3031 is a quick connect reducer union designed to join tubing of two different outside diameters in a single push-fit connection. It accepts 1/2 inch O.D. tubing on one end and 3/8 inch O.D. tubing on the other, eliminating the need for compression fittings or soldering at the joint. This fitting is rated for use with poly tubing and soft copper tubing only. It is not approved for use with steel tubing or in concealed installations. Plumbers and pipefitters install this type of fitting in accessible plumbing runs where a quick, tool-free connection is required and future serviceability is a priority.

Compatibility
