The WATTS BRASS TUBULAR PL-3021 is a quick connect reducing coupling designed to join tubing of two different outside diameters in a single push-fit connection. It accepts 3/8 inch OD tubing on one end and 1/4 inch OD tubing on the other, making a fast, tool-free transition between lines. Suitable for poly tubing and soft copper tubing, this fitting is used in low-pressure fluid distribution lines where a quick, secure union between different tube sizes is needed. Plumbers and pipefitters install this coupling in residential and light commercial applications.

This coupling fits into supply and distribution systems that use flexible poly or soft copper tubing, such as undersink water filtration systems, ice maker supply lines, RO systems, and similar plumbing assemblies. Installation Notes

This fitting is installed by licensed plumbers or qualified pipefitters in accessible plumbing locations only — concealed installations are not permitted. Before service, shut off the water supply and relieve pressure from the line. Ensure tubing ends are cut square and deburred before inserting into the quick connect fitting to achieve a proper seal. Verify the fitting is fully seated by giving the tubing a firm pull-back test after insertion.
