The WATTS BRASS TUBULAR PL-3003 is a quick connect tee fitting designed for use with 1/4 inch outside diameter poly or soft copper tubing. All three ports share the same 1/4 inch OD dimension, making this a symmetrical tee for splitting or joining tubing runs without soldering, flaring, or compression tools. The push-to-connect design allows for fast, tool-free connections in tight spaces. This fitting is sold in a package of 5 units. It is not approved for use with steel tubing or in concealed installations, so application placement must comply with that restriction. Plumbers and refrigeration technicians commonly install this type of fitting in water treatment, ice maker supply, and similar low-pressure tubing systems.
