The one-piece construction requires no assembly and no separate parts to manage on the job. Installation requires no tools — cut the pipe square, push it into the fitting end until it seats at the stop, and the connection is made. Licensed plumbers and experienced pipefitters are the typical installers for this type of valve.

Installation Notes

Installation is performed by a licensed plumber. Shut off the water supply and relieve system pressure before beginning work. Cut tubing squarely and remove any burrs before inserting into the fitting; tubing must seat fully at the internal stop for a leak-free connection. To disconnect, pull back on the release ring while extracting the tubing. Follow all applicable local plumbing codes, including IPC requirements, for buried or concealed installations.
