The WATTS BRASS TUBULAR 3520-1012 is a quick connect swivel elbow fitting designed to transition from 1/2 inch copper tube size (CTS) push connection to a 3/4 inch female pipe thread (FPT) swivel end. It is rated to hold up to 250 psi, making it suitable for residential and light commercial potable water supply lines. The single-piece construction eliminates loose internal components, reducing the risk of misassembly or missing parts on the job. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters install this fitting in new construction and retrofit applications where a secure, code-compliant connection is needed without soldering or flare tooling.
This fitting is approved for behind-wall installations without access panels and for direct in-ground burial, expanding its range of use to concealed and underground potable water piping. It carries NSF-14 and NSF-61 certifications, confirming suitability for contact with drinking water. CSA/ASTM and UPC code listings support its use in jurisdictions requiring certified plumbing products. The swivel FPT end allows rotational adjustment during installation, simplifying alignment in tight spaces. It is sold in a pack of 5 units.
Designed as a replacement for Qest and Flare It type fittings. Connects 1/2 inch copper tube size tubing to 3/4 inch female pipe thread ports in potable water supply systems.
Installation is performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with applicable local plumbing codes and the IPC or UPC as adopted in the jurisdiction. Shut off the water supply and depressurize the line before making or breaking any connections. Ensure the tubing end is cut cleanly and squarely and is free of burrs before inserting into the quick connect end. The swivel FPT end should be hand-tightened first, then secured with a wrench using thread sealant tape or compound rated for potable water service.
