The 3/4-inch male inlet and 3/4-inch female outlet sizing suits standard residential and light commercial water heater configurations. The included extension thermostat provides installation flexibility for either direct tank tapping or hot water outlet line service. The low-lead wetted surface construction contains less than 0.25 percent lead by weight, supporting compliance with lead-free plumbing requirements in potable water systems.

Shut off the cold water supply and relieve system pressure before removing or installing a relief valve. The discharge line must be routed to a safe drain location and must not be capped, plugged, or reduced in diameter. Verify that the sensing element is fully immersed within the top 6 inches of the tank water volume after installation.
