Product Description

The WATTS 81005162 is a crimp-style swivel BSP fitting designed to connect RadiantPEX or RadiantPERT tubing to Watts stainless steel manifolds in hydronic radiant heating systems. The fitting uses a 1/2-inch crimp end on the tubing side and a 3/4-inch SST20 swivel BSP thread on the manifold side. Installation requires either Crimp Rings or Cinch Clamps, which are sold separately. This fitting is not approved for potable water use and is intended strictly for closed-loop radiant heating applications. Licensed plumbers and hydronic heating contractors are the typical installers.

This fitting is used in residential and light commercial radiant floor heating systems where RadiantPEX or RadiantPERT tubing loops terminate at a stainless steel manifold. The swivel BSP thread allows the fitting to be oriented without rotating the tubing, which is useful in tight manifold installations.
