The WATTS 0780150 is a 1-inch bronze mechanical float valve designed to automatically control liquid levels in tanks, reservoirs, and open vessels. It operates without electrical power, relying on a float mechanism to open and close the valve as the liquid level rises and falls. The valve body is constructed from bronze for durability in potable water and industrial fluid applications. End connections are female pipe thread on both sides (FPT x FPT), rated for a maximum working pressure of 165 psi and a maximum working temperature of 180 degrees F. Flow capacity reaches 100 GPM at 50 psi. Plumbers and mechanical contractors typically handle installation on commercial and industrial systems.
This float valve is suited for residential and commercial tank-fill applications including cooling tower makeup, livestock watering systems, storage tanks, and process fluid reservoirs.
