This valve features a bronze body with NPT threaded female inlet and outlet (drain) connections, a non-metallic disc-to-metal seating, a stainless steel spring, and a test lever. It is built to resist corrosive water conditions, sticking, and freezing while preventing water and sediment from trapping in the seat. The pressure relief setting is at 100 psi, with a high-pressure rating of up to 2,635,000 Btu/hr. This valve is for emergency safety relief and not an operating control.
