This Watts 0009877 1-1/4 lead free dielectric union is designed for use in commercial and residential plumbing applications. It prevents corrosion and deterioration in piping systems caused by dissimilar metals and galvanic or stray currents. This union is commonly used in hot water storage tanks, water heaters, air conditioners, and steam and gas piping systems.
