The Watts 0009108 Series LFU5B-Z3 Pressure Reducing Valve is engineered for residential, commercial, and industrial applications. This valve minimizes incoming water pressure for the longevity of plumbing system components and minimizes water consumption. Constructed from lead-free cast copper silicon alloy, it includes an integral stainless steel strainer, a replaceable seat module, and a high-temperature resistant reinforced diaphragm suitable for hot water. This model has a built-in bypass feature for thermal expansion control and is serviceable inline without special tools. The standard construction includes a Z3 sealed spring cage and stainless steel corrosion-resistant adjusting cage screws, making it suitable for outdoor installations.
