The WARP BROTHERS FM-1825 is a brown fiber molding strip designed for securing plastic window film and sheeting material to window frames and door openings. Each strip measures 0.75 inches wide by 36 inches long and is intended to be fastened with tacks or staples, holding plastic glazing film flat and taut against the frame surface. The material is water-resistant, making it suitable for installations exposed to condensation or moisture. This pack includes 18 strips, providing a combined linear coverage of 54 feet. Installers and handymen use these strips wherever plastic sheeting needs a clean, finished edge hold.
The FM-1825 is used in residential and light commercial window insulation applications, storm window setups, greenhouse panel installations, and temporary weatherization projects. The strips are commonly applied along the perimeter of window frames when attaching polyethylene film, vinyl sheeting, or similar flexible plastic glazing materials. The 36-inch length suits standard window sash widths and can be cut to fit shorter runs. Each pack covers a typical set of windows in a single room or small space.
Designed for use with flexible plastic window film and sheeting materials, including polyethylene and vinyl glazing film, when secured to wood or similar frame surfaces using tacks or staples.
Installation is typically performed by a general contractor, handyman, or knowledgeable DIYer using a staple gun or tack hammer. Strips should be positioned over the edge of the plastic sheeting and fastened through both the strip and the film into the frame substrate. Cut strips to length with a utility knife or shears as needed. Avoid overtightening fasteners, which can tear through the fiber material or pucker the plastic sheeting.
