The WARD 20c.wf50 is a corrugated stainless steel tubing (CSST) assembly used to distribute fuel gas in residential and commercial structures. Constructed from 304 stainless steel with a black jacket finish, this 50-foot coil carries a 3/4-inch nominal size, a 0.98-inch outside diameter, and a 0.01-inch wall thickness. It is rated for a working pressure of 25 psi and a temperature range of -40 to 165 degrees F. Certified to ANSI LC1, ASTM A240/E84, CSA 112940, IAPMO 3353, ICC ESR-1879, and UL R18357, it meets the requirements of nationally recognized fuel gas standards. Licensed plumbers and gas fitters are the primary installers of this product.
This CSST is suitable for both natural gas and propane fuel gas distribution systems. It is used in new construction and retrofit applications where flexible routing through walls, floors, and framing is required. The 50-foot length accommodates longer branch runs from manifolds or meter sets to individual appliances in residential housing units and light commercial buildings. The black jacket provides UV and corrosion resistance during installation and service life.
Designed for use with natural gas and propane fuel gas distribution systems in residential and commercial structures, in compliance with ANSI LC1 fuel gas system requirements.
CSST fuel gas piping must be installed by a licensed plumber or gas fitter in accordance with local codes and the International Fuel Gas Code (IFGC). Shut off the gas supply and verify zero pressure at the work area before making any connections. CSST systems typically require bonding and grounding per local electrical and gas codes — verify requirements with the authority having jurisdiction before installation. Do not kink, crush, or cut tubing with tools that deform the corrugations.
