The WARD 15c.wf100 is a corrugated stainless steel tubing (CSST) product engineered for fuel gas distribution in residential and commercial structures. Manufactured from 304 stainless steel with a black jacket, this 100-foot coil carries a 1/2-inch nominal size with an outside diameter of 0.724 inches and a wall thickness of 0.01 inches. It is rated for a working pressure of 25 psi and a temperature range of -40 to 165 degrees F. Certified to ANSI LC1, this tubing is acceptable for use with natural gas and propane. Licensed plumbers and gas fitters install CSST during new construction and retrofit piping projects.
The WARD 15c.wf100 is suited for both residential housing units and commercial structures that require flexible fuel gas distribution lines. Its flexibility allows routing through walls, floor joists, and tight spaces where rigid black iron pipe is impractical. The 100-foot length accommodates long runs from the meter or manifold to individual appliances without mid-run couplings. This product is domestically manufactured and carries a full complement of third-party certifications, making it acceptable on permitted jobs in jurisdictions that recognize ANSI LC1-compliant CSST systems.
Designed for use with natural gas and propane fuel gas systems in residential and commercial construction. Compatible with CSST fittings and termination hardware rated for ANSI LC1-compliant corrugated stainless steel tubing systems at 1/2-inch nominal size.
Installation must be performed by a licensed plumber or qualified gas fitter in accordance with local fuel gas codes, the International Fuel Gas Code (IFGC), and the manufacturer's installation instructions. Shut off the gas supply at the meter or main shutoff valve and verify zero pressure before making any connections. CSST systems require proper bonding and grounding per ANSI LC1 and applicable electrical codes to mitigate arc-fault damage risk. Do not use pipe dope or thread sealants intended for rigid pipe on CSST fittings — use only sealants and fittings specified for CSST.
