Sized at 6.00 mm (0.2362 inches) in diameter with a 140-degree split point, it cuts aggressively while reducing thrust and walking on entry. A dual-layer proprietary coating -- TiSiAlCrN over an AlTiN base -- delivers thermal resistance and wear protection for extended tool life in abrasive and hard materials. Overall length is 82.00 mm (3.2283 inches) with a 44.00 mm (1.7323-inch) flute length. The shank diameter is 6 mm with a straight-cylindrical profile, making it compatible with standard drill chucks and collet toolholders. This bit is suitable for machinists and tool-and-die professionals working in high-volume or precision drilling applications.
The 7377481 is rated for use in steel, cast iron, aluminum, and non-ferrous materials -- material codes P, K, N, and S. It supports blind hole drilling, cross holes, inclined hole exits, and stack drilling. The 5xD flute-to-diameter ratio and through-coolant capability make it well suited for deeper cuts and higher feed rates where chip evacuation and heat management are critical.
