The WALTER-TITEX 7377416 is a solid carbide jobber-length drill bit designed for high-performance drilling in demanding industrial and machining applications. Built to Series DC160 specifications, it features a 3.4 mm diameter, a 140-degree drill point angle, and a dual-coating system combining TiSiAlCrN and AlTiN for extended tool life and heat resistance. The right-hand spiral flute geometry promotes efficient chip evacuation, and the straight-cylindrical shank provides reliable tool holding in standard chucks and collets. Coolant-through capability supports deep or high-speed drilling cycles. This bit is intended for use by machinists, tool-and-die professionals, and CNC operators.
The 7377416 is suited for drilling cast iron, non-ferrous metals, steel, superalloys, and titanium across a range of hole types. It handles blind holes, cross holes, inclined hole exits, and stack drilling, making it a versatile choice for production machining, aerospace component work, and precision fabrication. The 5xD flute-to-diameter ratio and 23 mm maximum drilling depth make it appropriate for short-to-mid depth hole applications in hard or abrasive workpiece materials.
The 7377416 is a Series DC160 jobber-length drill bit rated for cast iron, non-ferrous metals, steel, superalloys, and titanium workpieces. It is compatible with standard straight-cylindrical chuck and collet systems accepting a 6 mm shank diameter. Conforms to ANSI and ISO standards.
Installation and use should be performed by qualified machinists or CNC operators familiar with cutting tool setup and speeds-and-feeds selection. Secure the 6 mm straight-cylindrical shank in a properly sized collet or drill chuck and verify runout before engaging the workpiece. Ensure coolant lines are connected and flowing before beginning coolant-through drilling cycles. Do not exceed the 23 mm maximum drilling depth without re-evaluating chip load and coolant delivery.
