The WALTER-TITEX 5834819 is a solid carbide taper length drill bit designed for precision drilling in demanding industrial and trade applications. Built to Series A6589DPP standards, it carries a 0.1562 inch (5/32 inch) cutting diameter with a 140-degree split-point angle and an X-treme D point type. The spiral flute geometry runs 2.5197 inches in length, and the overall length measures 4.0158 inches. A coolant-through design supports high-speed drilling in difficult materials. The web-thinned, tapered web configuration reduces entry force and improves chip evacuation. This bit is installed by machinists, tool-and-die professionals, and precision fabricators working in production or maintenance environments.
This drill bit is suited for a wide range of precision drilling operations including blind hole, cross hole, inclined hole, stack drilling, and through hole drilling. The parallel shank with a 0.2362 inch shank diameter conforms to DIN 6535 HA, making it compatible with standard collet chucks and drill holders used in CNC machining centers and manual drill presses. The 12xD flute-to-diameter ratio and maximum drilling depth of 2.2047 inches make it well-suited for deep-hole work in tight-tolerance applications where carbide rigidity is required.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and production drill bit for use in standard parallel-shank collet chucks and drill holders conforming to DIN 6535 HA specifications.
Installation and use of this bit should be performed by qualified machinists or tool technicians familiar with CNC or manual drilling equipment. Ensure the machine spindle and toolholder are fully de-energized and locked out before changing tooling. Verify collet chuck or drill holder runout is within tolerance before securing the shank to avoid premature bit failure. Follow applicable shop safety standards and machine manufacturer guidelines for feed rate and spindle speed when using coolant-through carbide tooling.
