The WALTER-TITEX 5071775 is a straight-flute chucking reamer ground from cobalt steel for sizing and finishing bored or drilled holes to a precise 6.10mm diameter. It carries an h7 tolerance, making it appropriate for close-fit applications where hole quality and dimensional accuracy are critical. The bright, uncoated finish suits general-purpose use across a range of workpiece materials. With an overall length of 101.00mm and a 28.00mm flute length, the reamer is sized for bench, lathe, or machining-center use in metalworking and fabrication shops.
This reamer is applied in precision hole-finishing operations where a drilled or bored hole must be brought to a controlled final diameter. The h7 tolerance class makes it well suited for locating fits, dowel-bore sizing, and bearing-seat preparation in light to medium manufacturing and tool-room work. Coolant-through capability is not included, so flood coolant or cutting oil applied at the entry is the standard approach. The straight-cylindrical shank seats directly in a collet chuck, drill chuck, or floating reamer holder.
Designed as an OEM-style chucking reamer in the WALTER-TITEX F1342 series for standard straight-cylindrical chuck mounting in manual or CNC machining applications requiring a 6.10mm finished bore diameter.
Chucking reamers are installed and operated by qualified machinists or toolroom personnel. Power down and lock out the machine spindle before changing tooling. Secure the straight-cylindrical shank fully in a collet, drill chuck, or floating holder to minimize runout before reaming. Apply a suitable cutting fluid at the cutting zone throughout the operation; never run a reamer dry in steel.
