The WALTER-TITEX 5060619 is a jobber length drill bit engineered for high-performance drilling in demanding industrial and trade applications. Built from cobalt with an oxide coating, this bit measures 7.4 mm (0.2913 inches) in diameter and carries a 130-degree split point for accurate self-centering entry without a center punch. The parabolic flute design promotes efficient chip evacuation, reducing heat buildup during extended drilling cycles. An overall length of 4-9/32 inches and a straight-cylindrical shank make it compatible with standard drill chucks. This bit is suited for machinists, maintenance mechanics, and fabricators who need reliable performance in tough materials.
This drill bit is designed for use in cast iron, non-ferrous metals, stainless steel, carbon and alloy steel, superalloys, and titanium. It handles both blind hole drilling and stack drilling applications. The 8xD flute-by-diameter ratio and web-thinned, tapered web geometry support deeper cuts with reduced thrust requirements. Maximum drilling depth is 2.244 inches (57 mm). It fits any standard drill press, CNC machining center, or hand drill with an appropriate chuck capacity for a 0.2913-inch shank diameter.
Designed for use in cast iron, non-ferrous metal, stainless steel, steel, superalloys, and titanium workpieces (material codes K, M, N, P, S). Suitable for blind hole and stack drilling operations. Compatible with any drill press, machining center, or power drill accepting a 0.2913-inch straight-cylindrical shank.
Installation and use of this drill bit should be performed by a qualified machinist or mechanical trade professional. Always secure the workpiece and ensure the drill chuck is fully tightened before operation. Coolant-through is not supported on this bit; use appropriate cutting fluid applied externally when drilling stainless steel, superalloys, or titanium to extend tool life. Inspect the cutting edges and point geometry before each use and replace the bit if chipping or excessive wear is observed.
