The WALTER-TITEX 5060608 is a cobalt jobber-length drill bit designed for high-performance drilling in demanding materials including cast iron, stainless steel, steel, non-ferrous metals, superalloys, and titanium. The bit measures 6.3 mm (0.2480 inches) in diameter with a 101 mm (3.976 inches) overall length and features a 130-degree split point for precise entry and reduced walking on hard surfaces. An oxide coating provides surface protection and helps with chip evacuation. The parabolic two-flute geometry supports efficient chip removal in both blind hole and stack drilling applications. Machining professionals and industrial tradespeople working with production or maintenance drilling tasks will find this bit suited for high-cycle use.
This drill bit is intended for use in ferrous and non-ferrous metal drilling operations where standard HSS tooling underperforms. Typical applications include blind hole drilling and stack drilling in materials classified under ISO workpiece codes K, M, N, P, and S. The straight-cylindrical shank is compatible with standard drill chucks and collet-style tool holders. The parabolic flute with a flute-to-diameter ratio of 8xD supports deeper penetration with a maximum drilling depth of 52 mm (2.047 inches). It meets ANSI, ISO, BS, and DIN standards and carries a Series A1247 designation.
