The WALTER-TITEX 5060575 is a cobalt jobber length drill bit designed for high-performance drilling in demanding materials. It measures 3.8 mm (0.1496 inches) in diameter with an overall length of 75.00 mm (2-61/64 inches) and a parabolic flute length of 43.00 mm (1-11/16 inches). The bit features a 130-degree split point for reduced thrust and self-centering entry, paired with a web-thinned, tapered-web construction that improves chip evacuation. An oxide coating enhances surface hardness and lubricity. This bit is installed by machinists and trade professionals in production and maintenance drilling operations.
The 5060575 is suited for blind hole drilling and stack drilling applications. It performs in cast iron, non-ferrous metals, stainless steel, carbon and alloy steel, and superalloys including titanium. The straight-cylindrical shank (0.1496 inches diameter, 32.00 mm length) seats in standard drill chucks and collet holders. Maximum drilling depth reaches 36.00 mm (1.4170 inches), making it appropriate for moderately deep blind hole work in both manual and CNC setups at the 8xD flute-to-diameter ratio.
Designed for use in materials designated by ISO codes K (cast iron), M (stainless steel), N (non-ferrous metals), P (steel), and S (superalloys and titanium). Suitable for blind hole and stack drilling operations in standard drill chucks and collet systems accepting a 0.1496-inch straight-cylindrical shank.
Installation is performed by machinists or maintenance technicians using standard drill press, CNC, or hand-held drilling equipment. Secure the shank fully in the chuck or collet before operation and verify runout is within acceptable tolerance for the application. Coolant-through is not supported on this bit; apply external cutting fluid when drilling stainless steel, superalloys, or titanium to manage heat buildup. Follow machine manufacturer feed and speed recommendations for cobalt tooling and the specific workpiece material.
