The WALTER-TITEX 5060569 is a cobalt jobber-length drill bit designed for high-performance drilling in demanding materials. The bit measures 3.2 mm (0.1260 inches) in diameter with a 2-9/16 inch overall length and features a 130-degree split point for accurate self-centering and reduced walking on entry. A parabolic flute geometry promotes efficient chip evacuation, making it well suited for deeper holes and interrupted cuts. The oxide coating improves lubricity and surface hardness. This bit is built for professional machinists, maintenance technicians, and trade contractors who require consistent performance in production or field environments.
This drill bit is engineered for use in cast iron, non-ferrous metals, stainless steel, carbon and alloy steel, and superalloys including titanium. It performs in blind hole applications and stack drilling operations where chip management and entry precision are critical. The straight-cylindrical shank fits standard drill chucks without adapters. With a maximum drilling depth of 30 mm (1.181 inches) and a flute-to-diameter ratio of 8xD, it handles deeper bores within its size class. It is suitable for CNC spindles, drill presses, and hand-held power tools where the chuck capacity accommodates 0.126 inch shanks.
Designed for use in standard drill chucks accepting a 0.1260 inch straight-cylindrical shank. Suitable for blind hole and stack drilling applications across the material groups listed in Series A1247 specifications. Conforms to ANSI, ISO, BS, and DIN standards.
Install and remove drill bits only with the spindle fully stopped and power or air supply disconnected. Secure the straight shank fully within the chuck jaws to the recommended grip depth before tightening. Use appropriate cutting fluid or coolant for stainless steel and superalloy applications to manage heat buildup, as coolant-through is not supported by this bit geometry. Verify spindle speed and feed rate against manufacturer guidelines for the workpiece material before beginning the cut.
