Built to Series A1247 specifications, it carries a 2.9 mm (0.1142 inch) diameter with a 130-degree split point for reduced thrust and accurate self-centering on entry. The parabolic flute geometry improves chip evacuation, especially in deep or blind hole applications. An oxide coating provides surface hardness and lubricity. With a straight-cylindrical shank and a 2-13/32 inch overall length, this bit fits standard drill chucks and is suited for use in CNC drilling centers, drill presses, and hand-held power drills used by machinists and metalworking tradespeople.
