The WALTER-TITEX 5059382 is a jobber-length twist drill bit designed for high-performance drilling in demanding trade and industrial applications. Manufactured from high speed steel with an oxide coating, it carries a wire gauge size of 4, equal to 0.2090 inches in decimal diameter. The 130-degree point angle and web-thinned, tapered web construction reduce entry force and improve chip evacuation. The parabolic flute profile supports efficient material removal during blind hole and stack drilling operations. This bit suits machinists, maintenance technicians, and fabricators working with production drilling setups on ferrous and non-ferrous materials.
This drill bit is rated for use on cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and steel. Its straight-cylindrical shank fits standard drill chucks without adapters, making it compatible with both handheld and machine-mounted drilling equipment. The parabolic flute geometry with an 8xD flute-by-diameter ratio allows drilling to a maximum depth of 1.890 inches in a single pass, making it well-suited for blind hole work and stack drilling where consistent chip clearance is critical. It conforms to ANSI and ISO standards and carries BS and DIN specification designations.
Designed for use in standard drill chucks accepting a 0.2090-inch straight-cylindrical shank. Compatible workpiece materials include cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and steel, as specified by primary workpiece material codes K, N, and P.
Installation and use should be performed by qualified machinists or maintenance technicians familiar with drill press, CNC, or handheld drilling equipment. Secure the shank fully in the chuck and verify concentricity before use. Power down and de-energize all equipment before changing tooling. Do not exceed the rated maximum drilling depth of 1.890 inches without retracting to clear chips, particularly during blind hole and stack drilling operations.
