The WALTER-TITEX 5058527 is a jobber length twist drill bit designed for accurate hole-making in cast iron and steel. It measures 1.65 mm (0.0650 inches) in diameter with a 118-degree standard point angle and a web-thinned, tapered web configuration that reduces entry force and improves chip clearance. The oxide coating provides a degree of surface hardness and lubricity suited to ferrous metals. At 43 mm (approximately 1-11/16 inches) overall length with a 20 mm (25/32 inch) spiral flute, this bit fits standard jobber-length applications. It carries a straight-cylindrical shank and is categorized as a high-performance, general-purpose bit conforming to ANSI, ISO, BS, and DIN standards. Installation is performed by machinists and metalworking trades.
This drill bit is intended for use in blind hole and stack drilling operations on cast iron and steel workpieces. The regular spiral flute geometry and right-hand cut make it compatible with standard drill presses, CNC machining centers, and hand-held power drills running conventional clockwise rotation. The 8xD flute-to-diameter ratio and 17 mm maximum drilling depth (0.669 inches) make it suited to shallow-to-moderate depth applications in production and maintenance environments. It belongs to the Series A1211 product family and fits within the 0.05 to 0.10 inch diameter range of that series.
Designed for drilling cast iron and steel workpieces; suitable for use in standard drill chucks accepting a 0.0650-inch straight-cylindrical shank. Part of WALTER-TITEX Series A1211, covering the 0.05 to 0.10 inch diameter range.
This bit is installed by machinists or metalworking technicians in a drill press, CNC spindle, or hand-held power drill with a compatible chuck. Secure the shank fully in the chuck before operation and confirm the spindle rotates in the right-hand (clockwise) direction. When stack drilling, clamp workpieces securely to prevent movement between layers. Coolant-through is not supported on this bit; apply cutting fluid externally when drilling steel to manage heat buildup.
