The WALTER 5913350 is a double end, neutral cutting direction indexable cutoff blade designed for grooving and parting operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. The blade measures 26 mm in height and 108.3 mm in overall length, with a blade body width of 2.30 mm and a 3 mm insert width. It uses a self-grip insert holding method and is compatible with the G1042 blade style. The 5913350 is built to ISO standards and accepts GXE and GXF style inserts, making it a versatile tool for shops running a range of workpiece materials including steel, stainless, cast iron, nonferrous, and superalloys.
This blade is suited for parting and grooving applications across universal workpiece material codes H, K, M, N, P, and S. It is appropriate for use in production turning environments where a self-grip indexable system is preferred for repeatability and quick insert changes. The maximum depth of cut reaches 40 mm, making it capable of parting off larger-diameter stock. The blade mounts in SBN-style tool blocks. Typical users include CNC machinists and toolroom technicians working on turning centers in both job shop and production settings.
Compatible insert styles include GXE and GXF. Full insert compatibility includes: GX24-2E300N02-CE4, GX24-2E300N02-CF5, GX24-2E300N02-CF6, GX24-2E300N020-CE4, GX24-2E300N03-GD3, GX24-2E300N03-GD6, GX24-2E300N03-UD6, GX24-2E300N03-UF4, GX24-2E300N030-GD3, GX24-2E300N030-UA4, GX24-2E300N030-UF4, GX24-2E300N15-RD4, and GX24-2E300N150-RD4. Installation is performed by CNC machinists or toolroom technicians. Power down and lock out the turning center before seating or changing inserts or mounting the blade in the tool block. Ensure the SBN-style tool block is clean and free of chips before inserting the blade. Follow the machine and toolholder manufacturer torque and clamping guidelines when securing the tool block to the turret.
